La Costa Café & Restaurant (BD Aroma Pty Ltd) is a well-established Italian restaurant on the Central Coast, known for serving authentic Italian cuisine, quality ingredients, and excellent customer service. We are looking for a passionate and reliable Cook to join our friendly kitchen team.

As a Cook at La Costa Café & Restaurant, you will play an important role in preparing high-quality meals while maintaining food safety and kitchen standards.

·       Prepare and cook Italian dishes according to recipes and restaurant standards.

·       Assist with menu preparation.

·       Ensure food is presented to a high standard.

·       Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen.

·       Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and stock rotation.

·       Follow all food safety and WHS regulations.

·       Work efficiently during busy service periods.

·       Support the Head Chef and work collaboratively with the kitchen team.

·       Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery (preferred).

·       At least 1 year of full-time experience as a Cook in a busy café or Restaurent.

·       Good knowledge of Italian cuisine (Prepare and cook pasta, mains and sauces, Hand-stretched pizza production, Fresh dough preparation, Dough fermentation) is an advantage.

·       Strong understanding of food safety and kitchen operations.

·       Ability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

·       Positive attitude, reliability, and excellent teamwork skills.

·       Competitive salary $78,000 – $85,000 per year.
