Medical receptionist

About the role

As the first point of contact for patients, you'll play a key role in creating a positive experience at a busy general practice in Chester Hill, NSW.

Key responsibilities

• Greeting patients with a warm and welcoming approach

• Managing appointment bookings and phone enquiries

• Processing patient check-in/check-out and payments

• Maintaining accurate patient records and data entry

• Liaising with healthcare providers and staff to ensure smooth clinic flow

About you

• Previous experience in reception, administration, or healthcare environment (preferred but not necessary)

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Ability to multitask and work well under pressure

• Proficiency with computer systems (experience with practice management software Pracsoft/Medical Director is a plus)

• Professional, courteous, and team-oriented attitude

• Vietnamese speaking is helpful but not essential
