Job Description

The Role

Working on an 8/6 FIFO roster, you will play a critical role in maintaining, servicing and repairing overhead cranes and lifting equipment across site operations.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Preventative and corrective maintenance on cranes and lifting equipment
• Detailed inspections across various makes and models
• Fault finding and complex breakdown repairs
• Repairs, modernisations and installations
• Recommending and quoting repair solutions
• Conducting accurate risk assessments before every task
• Presenting safety and service reviews to customers
• Working independently while supporting and mentoring other technicians when required
• Crane experience is highly regarded, but most importantly, you bring strong electrical capability and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
• Awareness of ISO 14001 and 45001 standards.

Qualifications

About you

To be successful, you will have:

• A-grade Electrical Licence
• Must be based in Perth
• Willingness to work an 8/6 FIFO roster
• Current and valid Driver’s Licence
• Strong commitment to safety and risk management
• Confidence communicating with customers and team members
• Working at Heights competency
• Elevated Work Platform (EWP) ticket (desirable)
• Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to work
• You will be a team player who takes pride in your work, communicates professionally and represents the Konecranes and Demag brand with integrity.
