Customer Care Representative

At Service Experts Plumbing & Electrical, the customer experience starts with the first phone call. This role plays a big part in making sure our customers feel looked after from the moment they contact us.

We’re looking for a reliable, organised Customer Care Representative to join our office team. Someone who’s comfortable on the phone, likes staying busy, and takes pride in getting things right.

The role

This is a full-time, office-based position supporting our plumbing and electrical teams day to day.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Manage our inbound and outbound calls to schedule appointments.

• Booking, scheduling, confirming and updating service jobs.

• Using our job management system accurately and consistently.

• Asking the right questions so we understand what the customer needs.

• Keeping customers informed if things change.

• Following jobs through rather than handing things off.

• Managing your own tasks while working closely with the rest of the team.

About you

This role would suit someone who:

• Is confident speaking with customers on the phone

• Can stay calm and organised when things get busy

• Thinks things through and enjoys solving problems

• Follows tasks through without needing reminders

• Pays attention to detail and cares about doing a good job

• Is happy being part of a team but doesn’t need to be micromanaged

What we’re looking for

• At least 2 years’ experience in a customer service role
  (trade or maintenance experience is helpful, but not essential)

• Good organisation and time management skills

• A genuine interest in providing good customer service

• Experience with ServiceM8 or similar systems is a bonus
  (training provided)

This is a full-time, in-office role based in the Cheltenham area. A reliable daily commute is essential.
