The Role
The Settlement Worker is responsible for the provision of high-quality case management (Low and Medium complexity casework) and community development initiatives as relevant to role/location. The position operates within MiCare’s Integrated Family and Client Service in the Settlement Engagement and Transition Support (SETS). This program aims to empower humanitarian entrants and other eligible permanent migrants and their communities to address their settlement needs. Through casework, case management, group work and community engagement, the program focuses on: improving social participation, economic wellbeing, independence, personal well-being and community connectedness.
