About the Role

We're looking for a detail-oriented, proactive professional who loves systems and processes as much as we do. You'll play a key role in delivering consistent, high quality results for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Bookkeeping and payroll preparation

• Compliance tasks (Activity Statements, workers' comp, payroll tax, STP, TPAR)

• Client contact (phone and email)

• Assist with month-end reporting

• Identify and implement process and efficiency improvements

• Provide training and feedback to other team members

Location: Anywhere in Australia! Work from home, from a co-working space close to you or from one of our existing office/co-working spaces or choose a hybrid option (currently in Lismore, Caloundra and Hobart).

About You

Personal Attributes:

• Excellent written and spoken English

• Ability to manage multiple deadlines calmly

• Strong attention to detail and pride in your work

• Positive, inclusive attitude and personal accountability

Professional Attributes:

• Experience in bookkeeping/accounting using cloud-based software

• Love for learning new tech and systems

• Xero expertise is an advantage (we're 100% Xero-based)

• Formal bookkeeping/accounting qualifications or working towards
