About the role
Orora Beverage provides market-leading sustainable packaging solutions for the beverage industry. We specialise in glass bottles, aluminium cans and closures, with manufacturing sites across Australia and New Zealand.
Like our cans, our customer's brand and innovation needs come in all shapes and sizes. We support the entire beverage industry from craft brewers who are just starting out on their journey through to major companies with operations across the globe. Our customer markets include beer and cider, alcoholic ready-to-drink, carbonated soft drinks, juices, wine, seltzers, energy drinks and more.
The Role This is a key national role responsible for driving audit readiness, systems governance, assurance and reporting across Orora Cans' ANZ manufacturing network. Working closely with site SHEQ teams, operational leaders and external auditors, you will strengthen compliance, improve system consistency and ensure the business is proactively prepared for audits and certification requirements, rather than reacting to them.
Key Responsibilities
Drive audit readiness and assurance activities across multiple manufacturing sites, ensuring ongoing compliance and preparedness.
Manage the annual audit program, including scheduling, auditor engagement, corrective actions and timely close-out of findings.
Support the implementation, maintenance and monitoring of SHEQ management systems, standards and governance processes.
Maintain certification requirements and compliance obligations across ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and Food Safety frameworks.
Identify system, process and procedural gaps and support continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen SHEQ performance.
Develop and maintain consistent reporting, documentation, audit tools and governance processes across the ANZ network.
Analyse SHEQ data, trends and performance metrics to provide meaningful insights and support decision-making through reporting and Power BI.
Partner with site and functional stakeholders to drive standardisation, accountability and continuous improvement across SHEQ systems.
About You
Proven experience in a SHEQ, Quality Systems, Compliance or Audit-focused role, ideally within manufacturing or another highly regulated environment.
Strong working knowledge of ISO management systems, including ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and/or Food Safety standards.
Demonstrated success managing internal and external audits, assurance programs and certification processes.
Excellent reporting and analytical capabilities, with experience using data to drive insights and improve business performance.
Stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with the ability to build relationships and drive consistency across multiple sites.
