The Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated Administration Assistant to join our growing team for our Western Sydney office in Eastern Creek. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their workday, is highly organised, and is confident working with both internal staff and external clients.
In this role, you will provide essential support to our engineers, and office staff, ensuring the smooth running of our projects and office operations. You will be directly involved in scheduling, tender coordination, and client liaison, which makes this a great opportunity to build your skills in a professional services environment.
About the Role
This is a varied role where you'll be supporting the office with a range of day-to-day duties, including:
Handling incoming phone calls and email queries
Liaising with clients to arrange and confirm remedial inspections
Scheduling staff inspections and maintaining accurate project records
Coordinating tender meetings with contractors and consultants
Preparing tender assessment reports for review by the team
Providing general office support and administration assistance as required
You'll report to our Director and Office Manager.
About You
You will be a proactive and adaptable person who enjoys supporting a team and managing multiple tasks. Ideally, you will have:
• At least 1–2 years of administration experience
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Confidence in liaising with clients and colleagues at all levels
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and a willingness to learn new systems
• A friendly and professional manner with a focus on reliability and accuracy
Previous experience in engineering, construction, or professional services is preferred but not essential.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is essential for this role.
Intermediate-level Microsoft Office proficiency is required to effectively manage daily administrative tasks.
Australian citizenship is required for this position.
