Undergraduate Accountants

A Chartered Accounting firm conveniently located near Strathfield Station is seeking an Undergraduate or Graduate Accountant who is looking to commence or continue a career in Business Services within a supportive team of young, dedicated professionals.

You will receive ongoing training, mentoring, and direct guidance to support your professional development and career progression. We are open to both full-time and part-time applicants, depending on the successful candidate's availability.

Working directly with the Director, your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing individual income tax returns

• Preparing Business Activity Statements (BAS)

• Preparing financial statements

• Preparing company, trust, and partnership tax returns

• Processing Single Touch Payroll (STP) and superannuation obligations for business clients

• Assisting with a range of business services and accounting engagements

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

• At least six months' experience in a public practice accounting firm (preferred but not essential)

• Strong computer, literacy, and communication skills

• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills

• A professional presentation and positive attitude

• The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

We understand the commitments of university study and can offer flexible working arrangements for undergraduate students who require daytime attendance for classes.
