About the role
As a valued member of our Livestock & Yards team, you’ll be at the heart of day-to-day operations, supporting the care and management of livestock and helping keep our farm and yards running smoothly. This full-time role offers varied, hands-on work, combining animal welfare with the upkeep of facilities and equipment to ensure a safe, efficient and well-maintained working environment.

What you'll be doing

• Assist with the feeding, watering, and general care of livestock on the farm

• Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, including tractors, mowers, and fencing tools

• Perform yard work, such as cleaning pens and maintaining fences and gates

• Help with the loading and unloading of livestock

What we're looking for

• Prior experience in a similar farm labourer or livestock handling role

• Proficiency in operating farm machinery and equipment

• Excellent physical fitness and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment

• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
