Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Registered Nurse or an Enrolled Nurse to join our team in Somerville, VIC on a casual basis.

The successful candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to participants in both community healthcare settings and high-care environments. Responsibilities include participant care assistance, medication administration, wound care, and clinical progress monitoring.

Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care across various healthcare settings.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor participant progress and report to Nurse Manager and NDIS Operations Manager
• Assist in participant assessments and care plan development.
• Offer emotional support to participants and families.
• Maintain accurate clinical records.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals for optimal patient outcomes.
• Adhere to healthcare regulations and standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in nursing
• AHPRA Registration (if applicable)
• 2-3 years’ experience as Nurse
• Strong background in Wound Care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Effective team player.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Experience in community nursing preferred.
