Depot Hand/Labourer

About the role

As a crew member, we want you to bring your awesome personality and provide our customers with an exceptional service experience whilst working in a fun and friendly team environment. 

We are looking for a positive proactive team member who holds a current forklift licence, assisting in the day to day running of the business. You will be responsible for unloading and counting customer's cans and bottles, forklift work, cleaning and the necessary processing protocols to keep the site running efficiently and smoothly.

Key responsibilities include:

• Provide friendly, personalised and educational customer service

• Assist in day to day running of the business including but not limited to - unloading customer vehicles and counting eligible containers

• Help maintain a safe and clean work site which creates a welcoming environment for both our customers and our staff

• Contribute and commit to our company’s core values which include outstanding customer service, safety compliance, working together and cleanliness

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with our customers

• Forklift work (forklift licence preferred but not essential)

• Adhere to our WHS systems and all associated company policies and procedures

• Assist in traffic controls for both customers and contractors

• Report any hazards and risks identified

• Ensuring good housekeeping and maintenance of depot

• Attending onsite toolbox meetings

• Ensure all reports and checklists are completed in an accurate and timely manner

• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

• Contribute to our positive team culture
