Associate Director, Business and Skilled Migration

Join Investment NSW to lead the delivery of the NSW Skilled Migration Program, helping address critical workforce needs and supporting economic growth through strategic partnerships, program management and policy implementation.
About the RoleAs the Associate Director, Business and Skilled Migration, you will join the Priority Sectors and Skills team within Industry and Investment, Investment NSW. You will lead the coordination and delivery of the skilled migration visa program and drive development and implementation of the NSW Designated Area Migration Agreement, providing strategic oversight and program management to support workforce capability and economic growth across NSW.The role is responsible for developing governance frameworks, managing stakeholder relationships, overseeing funding arrangements, providing advice to senior executives and Ministerial offices, and ensuring successful program development and delivery in a complex policy environment.
You will work closely with government agencies, industry partners, business chambers, unions and peak bodies to identify opportunities, manage risks and deliver outcomes that support the State's workforce priorities.

We're Looking ForProgram Leadership & Delivery: Demonstrated experience leading complex programs or initiatives, including governance, risk management, performance reporting and stakeholder engagement to deliver strategic outcomes.Stakeholder Engagement & Influence: Strong experience building and managing relationships across government, industry and executive stakeholders, with the ability to influence outcomes in politically and commercially sensitive environments.Migration Policy & Strategic Advice: Knowledge of Australia's migration programs and policy, with experience providing high-quality advice, briefings and recommendations to senior leaders and decision-makers.
