About the role
Assistant Manager | Hamilton Hotel
Are you a hospitality professional ready to step into a key leadership role at one of Brisbane’s most dynamic, high-tempo inner-city venues? The Hamilton Hotel is looking for a driven, floor-focused Assistant Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves classic pub culture, and excels working as part of a strong, collaborative management group!
Instead of traditional Duty Managers working in isolation, our venue structure is built around a dedicated team of multiple Assistant Managers. This means you’ll always have strong, peer-level support on hand to collaborate on floor strategy, share shift load, and bounce ideas off as you lead our floor crew.
Fresh off a major makeover, "The Hamilton" blends high-volume inner-city trade with a deeply loyal community. Whether you’re steering a busy dining service on our newly renovated riverside deck, orchestrating high-energy game-day trade in the sports bar, or managing function and gaming operations, this role demands a leader with sharp operational instincts who loves being right at the heart of the action.
A day in the life of an Assistant Manager:
Inherent requirements:
This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs, and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.
About you:
If you’re keen to learn, lead, and laugh while making this pub the best spot in town – we’d love to hear from you.
The benefits are good too!
