Service Advisor

JT Fossey is a multi-franchised dealership located in Tamworth in North-West NSW. We have a busy and growing Service Department that requires an experienced Service Advisor to join a team of dedicated staff.

In this role your main responsibility will be liaising with customers, face to face and over the phone and via email. In this role you will report to the Service Manager.

Your duties and responsibilities will include:

· Ensure that the Service Department contributes to customer satisfaction by providing an excellent customer experience

· Promote the dealers service departments capabilities and strengths

· Accurately determine customers' concerns and communicate these to the workshop

· Basic automotive knowledge is required to effectively understand and communicate customer vehicle concerns

· Provide clear cost estimates of work to be done (verbally or in written quote form)

· Keep customers informed about the progress of their vehicles

· Create clear and detailed customer invoices

· Customer complaint resolution

· Conducting customer service follow up

· Carry out the vehicle hand back to the customer with a high emphasis on clear job explanation and associated charges

Skills you must possess include:

· Effective time management skills

· Ability to work with both the public and shop technicians in a courteous and professional manner

· Administrative skills and basic computer competency

· Decision making skills

· Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

· A strong focus on providing exceptional customer service

· Excellent communication skills, incorporating written and oral communication, influencing and negotiation skills

· Australian Permanent Residency or Citizenship is required for this position

To be successful in this position it is highly desirable that you have previous Dealership experience, preferably at least 12 months.
Remuneration package is negotiable for the successful applicant, based on previous experience and skills for the position.

Customer service experience from any industry will be considered for this role.
