The Senior Policy Adviser works independently as part of a team to ensure the successful delivery of key national disability reform activities, including the Disability Royal Commission, the NDIS Review and the development of Foundational Supports. You will provide advice to Government on progressing priority areas relating to national reforms. You will be required to demonstrate a sound understanding of the process for government responses to Royal Commissions and the issues and concerns facing the disability community.
You will be required to ensure high quality stakeholder engagement on the department's approach to implementation of recommendations from the government's response to the Disability Royal Commission and forthcoming response to the NDIS Review. Drawing on your skills as an experienced Senior Policy Officer, you proactively develop strategic solutions and develop strong relationships across the Victorian Government and other states and territory governments.
