Fleet Coordinator/Administrator

Tenure: 3 months - ASAP Start
Hours: 7am – 4pm, Monday to Friday (Onsite)
Pay Rate: $38.89/hr ORD (Level 3 Clerks Award)

Job Overview

The Fleet Coordinator/Administrator is responsible for coordinating and maintaining administration, compliance, maintenance records, and operational support activities for a yellow gear fleet and plant equipment. The role plays a key part in ensuring equipment servicing, repairs, documentation, and supplier management activities are completed efficiently and in line with company requirements.

Key Duties

• Assist with monitoring equipment downtime, maintenance schedules, and service compliance requirements.
• Coordinate and maintain yellow gear fleet data, records, systems, and administrative processes.
• Raise and process maintenance work orders and purchase orders in accordance with company compliance requirements.
• Manage the ordering and tracking of parts, consumables, and services for plant and equipment.
• Assist with scheduling and coordinating repairs, servicing, inspections, and preventative maintenance activities.
• Maintain accurate equipment maintenance records and documentation.
• Liaise with operators, workshop personnel, suppliers, and service providers to support the effective operation of plant equipment.
• Provide general administrative support to the fleet and maintenance team as required.
• Scheduling of work to a third party

Requirements

• Strong customer service and stakeholder management skills.
• Previous administration experience in a fleet, maintenance, workshop, plant, or transport environment.
• Exposure to heavy equipment, yellow gear, transport, or fleet operations highly regarded.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and fleet/maintenance management systems.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
