As an Electronic Monitoring Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of the community by actively monitoring low to high-risk offenders. This position requires close collaboration with government agencies, proactive monitoring, and real-time responses to ensure the conditions of offenders' orders are met.

About the job:

• Conduct continuous electronic monitoring of offenders, responding to customer inquiries and alerts promptly.
• Provide factual and timely data entry into the System, maintaining accurate records.
• Extract and analyze information from various sources and stakeholders.
• Treat offenders with respect, ensuring their conditions are monitored and reported to relevant stakeholders.
• Respond to alerts in accordance with the client’s Standard Operating Procedures.
• Ensure the regular monitoring of inclusion and exclusion zones for offenders.
• Assist in on-the-job training for team members.
• Coordinate, monitor, and record offender activities using verbal or computer-based communication systems within a monitoring center.

What you need to succeed

• 2 years' experience in customer service and/or data analytics.
• High level of availability to work 24/7 shifts on a full-time
• Intermediate-Advanced computer skills in Microsoft platforms
• Resilience for monitoring offenders and high-level interpersonal skills.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Satisfactoryly pass a (P800) Police Check.
• Satisfactorily pass any additional security check requirements from the Northern Territory Government if requested.
