The RoleAs an Exercise Physiologist at Summit Health Group, you’ll work closely with clients over time — building trust, guiding progress, and helping them feel more confident in their bodies.
You’ll be part of a team that shares responsibility for outcomes and supports each other day to day.
Your role will include:
Conducting structured initial assessments that create clarity and direction
Delivering 1:1 and small group exercise sessions
Programming and progressing clients using our established frameworks
Documenting clearly so care remains seamless across the team
Communicating with referrers and the wider healthcare team when required
Contributing to a calm, positive, and professional clinic environment
This role suits someone who enjoys working with people long term, values steady progress, and takes pride in doing the fundamentals well.
How We Support YouWe take development seriously. You’ll be supported through a structured onboarding and mentoring framework, including:
Structured onboarding and clinical manuals
Observation of assessments, reviews, and sessions
Supervised practice with immediate, specific feedback
Weekly mentoring and team professional development
Ongoing clinical and operational check-ins
We are seeking someone who:
Is ESSA-accredited (or near completion)
Shares our passion for helping clients improve their health through movement
Communicates clearly and builds strong rapport
Thrives in a collaborative team environment
Is eager to grow personally and professionally
Private practice experience is beneficial but not essential. Alignment with our values and team culture matters most.
