Bookkeeper

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Bookkeeper to join our Managed Services team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with multiple clients, building strong relationships, and helping businesses stay on top of their financial operations.

As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day bookkeeping activities for a range of clients across various industries. You will work closely with clients and internal stakeholders to maintain accurate financial records and provide timely financial information.
Key Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day bookkeeping functions for a portfolio of clients.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Reconcile bank, credit card, and loan accounts.
• Maintain general ledgers and ensure accuracy of financial records.
• Prepare and lodge BAS, IAS, and payroll-related obligations.
• Process payroll and ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
• Assist in the preparation of management reports and financial information.
• Liaise with clients and respond to bookkeeping and accounting queries.
• Support month-end and year-end reporting processes.

About You 
 
You will be a motivated professional who enjoys working in a client-focused environment and takes pride in delivering accurate and timely results.
You will bring:

• Previous bookkeeping experience, preferably within a public practice or managed services environment.
• Experience using Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, or similar accounting software.
• Strong knowledge of GST, BAS, payroll, and general bookkeeping principles.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Strong communication and client relationship skills.
• The ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
