About the role.
We are seeking an Analyst to join our Commercial Banking Property team in Adelaide. As an Analyst, you will play a key role in assessing commercial property and construction lending opportunities by preparing high-quality credit submissions, undertaking detailed financial analysis and providing well-reasoned recommendations to support lending decisions.
 

Working closely with Relationship Executives, Risk and Product Partners, you will analyse client financial performance, assess transaction risks and opportunities, and help structure lending solutions across a diverse portfolio of property investors and developers. You'll develop strong credit judgement while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for commercial property finance who is looking to build deep expertise in credit analysis, risk assessment and complex lending transactions.
 

Key responsibilities

• Prepare high‑quality credit submissions, providing clear analysis, judgement and recommendations to support sound credit decision‑making
• Lead financial and credit analysis for commercial property investment and development transactions, as well as cash‑flow‑based lending for construction services and real estate management businesses
• Proactively manage documentation, conditions precedent and funding requirements to ensure transactions are executed within agreed settlement timeframes
• Maintain high standards of data quality, compliance and reporting in line with policy, risk and governance expectations
• Partner closely with Relationship Executives, providing market research, client insights and analytical support to drive effective deal origination and structuring

About you

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Strong financial analysis skills, with sound attention to detail
• A genuine passion for and interest in commercial property and construction
• Experience or familiarity with cash flow modelling, in particular for commercial property investment and development
• The ability to multi‑task effectively and prioritise competing deadlines
• A proactive mindset with the ability to work well under pressure
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively as part of a team, contributing to shared outcomes
• Demonstrated critical thinking and sound judgement, with the ability to quickly understand, assess and form views on complex transactions
