HVAC Technician

Vertiv is seeking to add a highly skilled & dedicated Field Service Technician within our Thermal department!

Responsible for maintenance, commissioning and emergency repairs of Vertiv’s Thermal Management products as well as other contracted systems. You are required to establish, promote and maintain excellent rapport with all customers, sales managers, distributors and others within the field; maintain ongoing communication with scheduling teams and the line/department Manager

Responsibilities:

• Respond in a professional manner to assigned service calls while on duty. 

• Perform work in a safe manner in accordance with established company safety policy.

• Perform work using good working practice, current codes of practice/legislation.

• Assist in ensuring planned maintenance completion rate is maintained at a min 90%.

• Keep scheduling team informed of changes to schedule and the status of open jobs.

• Maintain accuracy of customer listing by reporting errors with the site change form.

• Close tasks in Mobile Field tool paperwork in a timely, accurate & complete manner.

• Create reports using the field system & ensure regular synchronization.

• Report sales or service leads to the proper department via the correct process.

• Support company vision and management decisions.

• Use email and Office based programs maintaining communications processes.

• Ensure that all Vertiv processes are followed.

• Keep company vehicle maintained & protect tooling & company property issued.

• Work as the service team supporting business needs & take part in callout rotation.
  

Qualifications:

• Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic trade training.

• ARC refrigerant handling licence

• WA Restricted electrical licence

• Valid WA Drivers licence

• Previous Field Service experience within HVAC

• Self-starter, ability to plan, organize and manage time effectively.

• Good computer & customer service skills
