Help keep a critical LNG operation moving

EVOL LNG is seeking an experienced and practical Parts Interpreter & Storeperson to support our Kwinana Maintenance Facility and wider Downstream LNG operations.

This hands-on role is responsible for maintaining accurate stores and inventory processes, identifying and sourcing maintenance parts, and ensuring our technicians have the right parts and equipment available when they need them.

You will support a diverse asset base that includes LNG road tankers, heavy transport equipment, pressure equipment, instrumentation and customer LNG storage and vaporisation facilities across Western Australia.

🛠️ What you’ll be doing

• Maintain accurate inventory, stock locations and parts records in MEX.

• Receive, inspect, label, store, issue and return parts and equipment.

• Identify parts using equipment details, manuals, drawings, photographs, purchase history and technician input.

• Develop and maintain equipment-level parts lists and bills of materials.

• Liaise with technicians, suppliers and OEMs to confirm and source suitable parts.

• Prepare purchase requisitions and monitor outstanding orders.

• Conduct stocktakes and investigate inventory discrepancies.

• Coordinate urgent freight and remote-site parts requirements.

• Manage rotable spares through repair, overhaul, certification and return to stock.

• Identify obsolete, duplicate and slow-moving inventory.

• Operate forklifts and maintain a safe, organised and efficient stores environment.

👷 About you

You will be organised, dependable and highly attentive to detail. You will enjoy working closely with technicians and suppliers and be comfortable using technical information to identify the correct parts for industrial equipment.

You will ideally bring:

• Experience in maintenance stores, warehousing, inventory control or parts interpretation.

• Practical experience with goods receipting, issuing, stock control and stocktakes.

• The ability to interpret equipment data, manuals, drawings and OEM information.

• Experience using a CMMS or inventory-management system, with MEX experience highly regarded.

• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.

• The ability to manage competing routine and urgent maintenance requirements.

• A strong commitment to safety, accuracy and good housekeeping.

✅ Essential requirements

• Current unrestricted Class C driver’s licence.

• Current High Risk Work Licence – Forklift Truck (LF).

• Ability to safely undertake the physical duties associated with a workshop stores environment.

⭐ Highly regarded

• Certificate III in Supply Chain Operations, Warehousing Operations or a related discipline.

• Experience in LNG, gas, heavy transport, pressure equipment, mining or industrial maintenance.

• Experience managing rotable spares, critical inventory or equipment bills of materials.
