Detailed Job Description:Job Title: Senior SRv6 Network EngineerRole Summary: Seeking an experienced Network Engineer with strong expertise in SRv6, MPLS, IPv6, BGP, ISIS, EVPN, and Service Provider Networks to support Optus network transformation and modernization initiatives.
Key Skills & Experience:• 8+ years of experience in IP/MPLS Service Provider networks• Strong hands-on experience with:SRv6 (Segment Routing IPv6)MPLS & Segment RoutingBGP, ISIS, OSPFEVPN/VXLANIPv4 & IPv6Traffic Engineering and QoSExperience on:Nokia 7750 SR / SR OSCisco ASR9K / NCS / IOS-XRJuniper (preferred)Network automation experience using Python, Ansible, YANG, NETCONF/RESTCONFExperience in carrier-grade backbone networks, network transformation, and migration programsAbility to provide L3 support and drive RCA for critical incidents
Preferred Certifications:
• CCNP/CCIE Service Provider• Nokia NRS-I / NRS-II• JNCIP-SP / JNCIE-SP• ITIL Foundation
