Administration Assistant – Receipting - School Assistant 3 - Hawker College – Temporary position

Hawker College is seeking applications for a dynamic Administration Assistant – Receipting to join its team for a full-time temporary role commencing as soon as possible until 5 February 2027, with possibility of extension and/or permanency.
Administration Assistants play a key role in supporting the efficient day-to-day operations of the school. Working closely with the Business Manager, School Leadership team and teaching staff, you will provide high-quality administrative, financial and customer service support that contributes to positive outcomes for students and the broader school community
In this role, you will support a range of finance and administration functions, including receipting, banking, reconciliations, invoices, purchase orders and financial reporting. You will also manage enquiries, assist with school communications, maintain accurate records and use school systems such as Xero and Sentral to support business and operational requirements.
You will be part of a collaborative administration team, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives, maintaining confidentiality, and ensuring a professional, welcoming and responsive service for students, families, staff and external stakeholders.
