Since launching EACON Mining Technology Australia Pty Ltd in December 2023, we’ve hit some significant milestones, establishing our new office in West Perth in 2024 and expanding collaboration with partners and clients across the industry. As EACON Australia continues to expand, as such we are seeking a creative and proactive Digital Marketing Assistant with strong graphic design experience to join our team in West Perth Head Office on a Permanent Part-time basis ideally working 2-3 days a week. Reporting to our Chief Growth and Business Officer, this hands-on role will support Eacon’s marketing and communication activities through visual storytelling, content creation and digital marketing across social media, newsletters, websites, events and other marketing channels.

Working within our marketing team, you will support marketing campaigns, ensuring brand consistency and digital performance activities, helping strengthen EACON’s brand presence, improve audience engagement and effectively communicate our activities to key audiences. The right candidate will be someone who enjoys turning ideas and information into clear, engaging content and are comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

As our Digital Marketing Assistant, your responsibilities consist of the following:

• Create and edit marketing visuals, including social media graphics, presentation materials and event collateral.

• Assist in the production of marketing videos for social media, events and corporate communications.

• Support the planning, editing and layout of newsletters, ensuring content is accurate, engaging and aligned with brand guidelines.

• Help manage newsletter distribution and maintain subscriber lists where required.

• Assist with content creation for LinkedIn, website updates and other digital marketing channels.

• Support the coordination of marketing campaigns, events and promotional activities.

• Maintain and organise marketing assets, including photos, videos and design files.

• Support basic website content updates and search engine optimisation activities.

• Help ensure marketing materials remain consistent with EACON’s brand guidelines.

Qualifications and Experience

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, Graphic Design, Digital Media or a related discipline.

Essential Criteria:

• Video editing skills using Premiere Pro, CapCut or similar software.

• Experience with graphic design tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator or InDesign).

• Familiarity with Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Office applications.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Interest in technology, mining, engineering or industrial sectors.

Desired Criteria:

• Experience managing LinkedIn or other social media platforms.

• Experience with Hubspot or other email marketing platforms.

• Experience with website content management and SEO.

• Photography or videography experience.

• Mandarin language skills would be advantageous.
