Your Journey Therapy is a warm, family-run allied health clinic located in South Morang. We are passionate about providing high-quality, client-centred therapy in a supportive and welcoming environment for children, families and individuals within our community.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Registered Occupational Therapist to join our supportive multidisciplinary team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an Occupational Therapist who is passionate about delivering meaningful therapy outcomes and supporting clients to build independence, confidence and everyday functional skills.

About the Role

As a Registered Occupational Therapist at Your Journey Therapy, you will provide therapy and support to clients across a range of ages and needs. The role includes clinic-based sessions as well as community visits to schools, kindergartens and homes.

You will work closely with a supportive team of Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, Psychologists and Allied Health Assistants to provide high-quality care and achieve positive outcomes for clients and their families.

Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include:

Conducting engaging, evidence-informed therapy sessions.

Completing assessments such as Functional Capacity Assessments, Movement ABC, Beery VMI, Sensory Profiles and Vineland assessments.

Preparing clear and timely clinical notes, reports and NDIS documentation.

Developing therapy plans and goals tailored to each client’s individual needs.

Collaborating with Allied Health Assistants and other members of the multidisciplinary team.

Providing therapy across a range of settings, including the clinic, schools, kindergartens and clients’ homes.

Building strong, positive and trusting relationships with clients and families.

Maintaining professional standards in line with AHPRA requirements and best-practice guidelines.

About You

We are looking for a Registered Occupational Therapist who is friendly, professional, adaptable and passionate about supporting clients to achieve meaningful outcomes.

The successful applicant will have:

A Bachelor, Honours or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.

Current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist.

Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills.

Excellent organisation and time-management skills.

A positive, flexible and client-focused approach.

The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

A genuine passion for supporting clients and families.

Essential Requirements

Current AHPRA registration.

Working With Children Check.

NDIS Worker Screening Check.

Australian Police Check.

Current Australian driver’s licence.

Access to a reliable vehicle.

Professional indemnity insurance.
