Senior Business Analyst and Project Manager

Role Description This full-time, on-site Senior Business Analyst and Project Manager role is based in Hobart, TAS. The position is responsible for leading end-to-end business analysis and project delivery across Riskteq’s risk, safety, and compliance solutions. Day-to-day activities include gathering and validating business requirements, mapping and improving business processes, and translating customer needs into clear functional specifications for the product and technical teams. The role also manages project plans, timelines, and stakeholder expectations, ensuring solutions are delivered on scope, on time, and within budget. The Senior Business Analyst and Project Manager will collaborate closely with internal teams and customers, facilitate workshops and demos, support user acceptance testing, and contribute to continuous improvement of the platform and implementation methodology.

Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills and experience interpreting complex data to support decision-making.Candidates should possess Business Analysis skills, including requirements elicitation, documentation, and solution design.Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders, run workshops, and present findings clearly.Candidates should possess Business Process skills, including process mapping, optimization, and change impact assessment.Candidates should possess Business Requirements skills, with proven ability to translate customer needs into functional and technical specifications.Experience managing end-to-end software implementation or transformation projects, preferably in risk, safety, compliance, or related fields.Proven project management capabilities, including planning, tracking, risk management, and stakeholder coordination.Familiarity with SaaS platforms, workflow automation, and dashboard/reporting solutions is highly beneficial.Bachelor’s degree in business, information systems, engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and customers, with a focus on continuous improvement and delivering measurable outcomes.
