We’re now looking for a Senior Payroll Officer to join our team on a 12-month fixed term contract basis. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in ensuring our people are paid accurately, on time, every time! What You'll Do:

Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you’ll take ownership of end-to-end payroll operations while acting as a trusted expert across the business.

Responsibilities include:

Deliver accurate and timely payroll processing (weekly, fortnightly, monthly cycles)Resolve complex payroll queries and conduct root cause analysisManage terminations, redundancies, bonuses, commissions and adjustmentsEnsure compliance with PAYG, superannuation, payroll tax, and employment legislationMaintain and improve payroll systems (SAP ECP, SuccessFactors, WFS)Lead payroll reconciliations, reporting, month-end and statutory obligations (ATO, ABS, Super)Partner with HR, Finance, and key stakeholders to deliver seamless outcomesContribute to process improvements, SOP development, and team capability uplift

What You'll Bring:

Proven payroll experience in a complex, high-volume environmentStrong expertise in SAP ECP and large HRIS platforms (SuccessFactors preferred)Deep knowledge of Australian payroll legislation (PAYG, Super, FBT, Workers Comp, NES)High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent stakeholder engagement and communication skillsA proactive, solutions-focused approach with the ability to manage competing priorities
