About the role
Cammeray Medical Practice is a long-established, welcoming, and patient-centred general practice in the heart of Cammeray. Our team is known for its supportive culture, high clinical standards, and genuine commitment to caring for our community. We are seeking a caring and enthusiastic Registered Nurse to join our friendly general practice team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, meaningful patient interactions, and working within a supportive, collaborative environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesTriage and patient assessments
Childhood, adult, and travel immunisations
Wound care and chronic wound management
Assisting GPs with procedures including:
Skin biopsies
Mirena insertion
Iron infusions
Other minor procedures
75+ Health Assessments and chronic disease care plans
Patient recalls, reminders, and follow-up
First-line emergency response and use of emergency equipment
Cold chain management
Infection control and sterilisation
Supporting practice accreditation requirements
You will be an important part of our clinical team and will see the real impact of your care every day.
Skills & ExperienceRegistered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
Minimum 2 years' nursing experience
Interest in Primary Care / General Practice
Immunisation Certificate or good knowledge of the NSW vaccination schedule
Current CPR certification
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks
Competent computer skills
Australian permanent residency required
Previous GP practice experience
Emergency or paediatric experience
Minimum 3 days per week
1–2 Saturday mornings per month on rotation
