We are looking for an experienced IT Asset and Procurement Manager to lead the governance and optimisation of IT assets and licensing across our organisation. This is a high-impact role offering the opportunity to shape and mature a critical function that underpins business performance, cost control, and compliance.

About The Role

As IT Asset and Licence Manager, you will manage the full lifecycle of IT assets, including hardware, software, cloud services, and supplier contracts. You will ensure that all assets are controlled, compliant, and fully optimised, while providing key insights that influence strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

Lead end-to-end asset and licence management processesMaintain accurate records across CMDB, contracts, and asset repositoriesConduct audits, reconciliations, and compliance assurance activitiesManage supplier relationships and procurement processesDeliver data-driven reporting on cost optimisation, utilisation, and lifecycle planningIdentify and remediate risks, gaps, and inefficienciesEstablish and improve governance frameworks, standards, and controls

About You

You bring:

Proven experience in IT asset management, licence management, or similarStrong knowledge of ITSM, CMDB, and asset management toolsA solid understanding of licensing, contracts, and compliance requirementsExcellent analytical, organisational, and communication skillsThe ability to influence stakeholders and drive process adherenceA commercially aware mindset balancing cost, risk, and service outcomes

Additional Requirements

Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to Group sites as requiredLocation: Doncaster
