ER Advisor

About the role

The ER Advisor is responsible for providing expert guidance on employee relations matters, managing workplace concerns and conflicts, ensuring fair and consistent application of HR policies, and supporting a positive, compliant, and high-performing workplace culture.

What you'll be doing

• Act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees on HR policies, conflict resolution, and workplace issues.

• Lead compliance with employment laws, Awards, Agreements and Company Policies.

• Manage a high volume of employee relations cases.

• Support managers in managing employee performance, conduct, and workplace issues, including coaching leaders through disciplinary processes, investigations, and resolution of employee concerns.

• Assist with the preparation and review of standardised documentation relating to performance management, warnings, and employment changes

• Coach and provide team leadership training for managers

• Enable effective goal setting and performance conversations

• Coach leaders on managing underperformance and recognising strong performance

• Provide business context and feedback to improve HR solutions.

What we're looking for

This is an exciting opportunity for a ER Advisor to step up in an autonomous role supporting your the business within the group, Australias wide.

This position will deal with high volume employee relations matters and general day to day activities, so your ability to remain calm and manage competing priorities will be critical to your success.

• 2+ years experience in a HR position dealing with employee relations.

• The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong knowledge of employment law, HR best practices, and organizational development.

• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Proficiency in HRIS systems and data analytics tools would be preferred but not a must.

• Strong relationship-building skills with managers, employees and candidates

• Organised, proactive, with a strong attention to detail
