About the role
Workshop Administrator (Parts and Logistics)
Location: Forrestfield, Western Australia
Employment Type: Full-Time
Shift: 7am - 4pm (Mon-Fri)
Quantum Diesel Engineering Services is a rapidly growing family-owned business specialising in engine and general machining for the Mining, Transport, Marine, and Power Generation industries. We are seeking a motivated Workshop Administrator (Parts & Logistics) to join our team and contribute to our continued success. This role is ideal for someone seeking a hands-on office position whilst having the freedom to get into the workshop.
Key Responsibilities
Picking and packing parts
Bi-annual stock take
· Communicate effectively with customers to provide updates and support
· Book freight and coordinate deliveries
· Pack and strap pallets for dispatch
· Shared driving duties for parts runs as required
· Order consumables to ensure workshop efficiency
· Source and order parts for both stock and specific jobs
· Prepare and provide accurate job quotations (parts)
· Organise stock engine components
Requirements
Current LR driver’s licence
Forklift licence
Previous warehouse or delivery experience (preferred but not essential)
Ability to lift and move stock safely
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Engine parts knowledge
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
Basic computer literacy

A clear communicator with excellent customer service skills
Practical and hands-on, with a willingness to assist in workshop tasks
Experienced in administration, logistics, or workshop coordination (preferred but not essential)
