About the Role:
As a Grade 1 Physiotherapist, you will manage a clinical caseload within your allocated area of work and contribute to the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care. You will work closely with senior physiotherapists, allied health professionals and broader healthcare teams to ensure effective and timely service delivery. You will be well supported in your role and rotate through various departments at ERH to give you a broad and wide range of experiences in the hospital setting.
Key responsibilities include:
· Managing a diverse physiotherapy caseload appropriate to your level of experience.
· Delivering evidence-based physiotherapy assessment and intervention.
· Supporting continuous quality improvement initiatives.
· Participating in professional development and department education programs.
· Assisting with supervision of Allied Health Assistants and physiotherapy students as required.
· Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and data collection requirements.
· Contributing to service coordination and multidisciplinary care planning.
Qualifications/experience required:
· Bachelor of Physiotherapy or Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy). (Current unrestricted registration with AHPRA.)
· Strong organisational and time management skills.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· A commitment to person-centred care and delivering safe, high-quality healthcare.
