DNS L3 Engineer

Position: DNS L3 EngineerLocation: Sydney, NSWDuration: 6 months
Key ExpectationsProvide L3 support for the current DNS platform.Work closely with customer SMEs to build domain knowledge and support ongoing operations.Mentor and uplift the capabilities of the L1/L2 support teams through knowledge transfer, documentation, runbooks, and operational coaching.Support the DNS environment within a shared-responsibility operating model.F5 DNS expertise would be a strong advantage, as the customer is also introducing F5 DNS capabilities.
Preferred Skills & ExperienceStrong DNS administration and troubleshooting experience.Expertise in Open-Source DNS platforms (e.g., BIND, Unbound, PowerDNS).Experience in DNS architecture, operations, and service continuity.Knowledge of F5 DNS/GTM (preferred).Experience working in large-scale enterprise or telecom environments.Strong documentation, knowledge transfer, and stakeholder management skills.
