$65,000–$75,000 Retainer + Uncapped Commission | $200K+ Earning Potential

Rocklea Truck Parts is looking for a motivated Parts Interpreter / Parts Salesperson to join our busy truck dismantling and parts operation.

This is NOT your traditional Parts Interpreter job.

We specialise in American, Japanese and European trucks, selling everything from complete engines and gearboxes through to alternators, starters, suspension, electrical components and everything in between.

The role is heavily focused on sales, customer service and building relationships — finding the right part for the customer and getting the deal across the line.

💰 THE MONEY

• $65,000–$75,000 retainer, depending on experience

• Uncapped commission structure

• Realistic and achievable sales targets

• High performers can earn $200,000+ per year

• The more you sell, the more you earn — there is no ceiling

• Company phone provided

🔧 WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Taking phone and online enquiries

• Identifying and sourcing truck parts

• Quoting and negotiating with customers

• Selling parts to workshops, transport companies, mechanics and the general public

• Building and maintaining customer relationships

• Working with our dismantling and yard teams to locate stock

• Following up quotes and turning enquiries into sales

• Using our computer systems and databases to manage enquiries and sales

👊 WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Ideally, you’ll have:

• Experience with trucks or truck parts

• Parts Interpreter or mechanical experience

• A forklift licence would be highly regarded

• Strong computer skills

• Excellent communication skills

• A confident and positive personality

• A natural ability to sell and build relationships

• Good attention to detail

• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who wants to sell and make money, not someone who simply wants to sit behind a parts counter.

⏰ HOURS

Monday to Friday
7:30am – 5:00pm

No weekend work.
