About The Role

Acumentis is growing, and we're looking for experienced Residential Valuers to join our Sydney team. This isn't a standard mortgage-valuation role — we want valuers who bring genuine breadth, with a strong track record across both mortgage and non-mortgage work. You'll work across a diverse client base spanning community housing providers, financial institutions, government, and private clients, with exposure to areas such as family law, litigation, council, and asset/financial reporting valuations. If you're a CPV-qualified valuer looking to broaden your scope beyond standard resi work, and you can bring existing client relationships with you, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality residential valuations across a broad range of purposes, including mortgage security, family law, litigation, council, and financial/asset reportingBuild and manage relationships with a diverse client base, including community housing providers, financial institutions, government bodies, and private clientsProvide accurate, well-reasoned valuation reports within agreed timeframes, keeping clients informed of progressMaintain a strong working knowledge of the local property market and keep the job management database up to dateContribute to business growth through marketing activity and, where relevant, bringing existing client work with youUphold Acumentis' professional and quality assurance standards across all valuation work

Skills and Experiences:

Desired Skills

Proven experience across both mortgage and non-mortgage residential valuation workStrong written and verbal communication skills, with sound judgement under pressureEstablished relationships with clients such as community housing providers, financial institutions, or government bodiesAbility to manage a varied and high-volume caseload independently

Essential Skills

You hold a relevant tertiary qualification in a related fieldYou hold a Valuer qualification (CPV - Certified Practising Valuer) and current API membership — note this is a strict requirement governed by the property valuation industry's governing bodyYou hold a current and valid Australian Driver Licence

It is a condition of employment that staff are to obtain National Police Clearance (paid for by the business).
