Maintenance Officer

About the role

Elderly Care is seeking a Maintenance Officer to join our team in a full-time capacity to support and maintain our Ashgrove facility. You will perform various maintenance tasks, from basic repairs to complex projects, ensuring high standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Perform various maintenance tasks, from basic repairs to complex projects

• Manage projects within set time frames with minimal supervision

• Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to respectfully interact with residents, families, colleagues, and contractors

• Work independently and collaboratively within a team

• Exhibit problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Ensure high standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction

• Maintain impeccable personal presentation

About you

• Competence in performing various maintenance tasks, from basic repairs to complex projects

• Previous hands-on experience in handyman, commercial maintenance, building, or construction industries

• Skills in carpentry, tiling, painting, plastering, labouring, property maintenance, or handyman tasks

• Experience in facility maintenance

• Possession of a White Card is advantageous

• Successful completion of a Police Check is required
