Revenue Team Leader

About the role

HomeCaring Pty Ltd is seeking a Revenue Team Leader to join our growing organisation in Parramatta, NSW. This is a full-time position that plays a critical role in driving our financial operations and supporting the sustainability of our aged and disability support services. As Revenue Team Leader, you will oversee billing, invoicing, and revenue management processes, ensuring accurate financial records and optimal cash flow for the organisation. Your leadership will be instrumental in supporting our mission to deliver quality care whilst maintaining strong financial health.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the revenue team, providing coaching, supervision and performance management to ensure high standards of accuracy and efficiency

• Oversee all billing and invoicing processes, ensuring timely and accurate generation of client invoices and funding submissions

• Manage accounts receivable functions, including follow-up on outstanding payments and debt recovery procedures

• Prepare and analyse revenue reports, providing insights to senior management on financial performance and trends

• Ensure compliance with funding body requirements, contractual obligations and financial regulations relevant to aged and disability support services

• Implement and maintain revenue management systems and processes, identifying opportunities for improvements and efficiency gains

• Liaise with other departments including operations, finance and client services to resolve billing queries and ensure seamless coordination

• Reconcile accounts and conduct regular audits to ensure financial accuracy and identify discrepancies

• Support the development and implementation of revenue policies and procedures

What we're looking for

• Proven leadership experience managing a team in a revenue, billing or finance function, preferably within community services, health or aged care sectors

• Strong knowledge of billing processes, invoicing systems and accounts receivable management

• Excellent understanding of funding models relevant to aged and disability support services, including NDIS, aged care subsidies or similar government funding arrangements

• Advanced proficiency with accounting software and financial management systems

• Exceptional attention to detail with strong numeracy and analytical skills

• Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information to stakeholders

• Strong problem-solving capabilities and a proactive approach to identifying process improvements

• Knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations and compliance requirements in the aged and disability support sector

• Certification or qualification in accounting, finance or business administration is highly valued
