About the role

BWT Pool Products Austral WA is seeking a dedicated and organised Storeperson to join our team in Balcatta, WA. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in the efficient operation of our warehouse and distribution facility. As a Storeperson, you will be responsible for managing inventory, organising stock, and ensuring the smooth flow of products through our storage and distribution operations. This role is essential to maintaining our high standards of service and supporting the broader objectives of our business in the warehousing, storage and distribution sector.

Roster

Monday to Thursday 8am-4pm & Fridays 8am-4.30pm

Key responsibilities

• Receiving, unpacking and checking incoming stock for accuracy and condition

• Organising and storing products in designated locations using appropriate storage methods

• Maintaining accurate inventory records and conducting regular stock counts

• Picking and packing orders for dispatch to customers

• Operating warehouse equipment including forklifts and WAV Pickers safely and effectively

• Labelling stock items clearly and maintaining organised storage areas

• Assisting with the loading and unloading of delivery vehicles

• Maintaining a clean, safe and hygienic warehouse environment in compliance with health and safety regulations

What we're looking for

• Previous experience working in a warehouse preferable, but not compulsory.

• Proficiency in operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and WAV pickers, or willingness to obtain relevant certifications

• Attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping and inventory management

• Physical fitness and ability to perform manual handling tasks regularly

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

• A commitment to health and safety practices in the workplace

• Basic literacy and numeracy skills for record keeping and stock management

• Sound computer knowledge and confidence in using PDA picking devices.
