Dynamic Training Services is seeking an experienced and motivated Carpentry Trainer to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified tradesperson who is passionate about mentoring apprentices and delivering high-quality vocational education.
About the RoleAs a Carpentry Trainer, you will deliver engaging practical and theoretical training to students undertaking nationally recognised carpentry qualifications. You will support learners throughout their training journey while ensuring compliance with industry and regulatory standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver classroom-based and practical carpentry training.
Assess student competency in accordance with training package requirements.
Prepare lesson plans, learning resources, and assessment materials.
Provide guidance, mentoring, and ongoing support to students.
Maintain accurate training and assessment records.
Ensure compliance with ASQA standards, RTO policies, and workplace health and safety requirements.
Liaise with employers and industry stakeholders where required.
Certificate III in Carpentry (or higher qualification).
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent), or willingness to obtain.
Demonstrated industry experience as a qualified carpenter.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Current Driver Licence.
Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) Registration or willingness to obtain.
Current National Police Check or willingness to obtain.
Experience using aXcelerate (Student Learning Management System) for student administration, training records, assessments, attendance, and compliance reporting is highly regarded but not essential.
Previous experience as a vocational trainer or workplace assessor.
Experience working within a Registered Training Organisation (RTO).
Knowledge of the Australian Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector.
