This is a valuable career opportunity to represent the Office of Industrial Relations and Workforce Strategy (OIRWS) as the Directorate Liaison Officer. The role works closely with senior ACT Government stakeholders, Members of the Legislative Assembly and the community, and requires integrity, sound judgement and strong communication skills.

The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of OIRWS, including its roles and responsibilities, and will demonstrate exceptional organisational skills.

Eligibility/Other Requirements:

• Experience working with, and knowledge of, Cabinet, Assembly and ministerial processes within the ACT Government is highly desirable.

Note: This is a temporary position available for up to 12 months.

A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months.

Opportunities for flexible working options could include hybrid working, being a combination of working from home, designated office based and FlexiSpace working locations across the ACT, part-time hours, job-sharing, flexible start, and finish times.
