We have an exciting Estimator role, working with the estimating team

You will report to and be supported by Our Senior Estimator, working from our state of the art Keilor Park location.

The days and hours of work are Monday to Friday, from 8.45am - 5.00pm 

Duties & Responsibilities

• Estimate construction project costs based on project plans and specifications.

• Analyse and interpret construction drawings, technical documents & Consultant Reports

• Producing accurate Bill of Quantities & raising Purchase Orders.

• Documentation control and management

• Identify potential risks and opportunities for cost savings during the estimating process.

• Liaise with and assist project managers when needed.

• Produce accurate electrical layout plans.

• Monitor project costs and provide ongoing analysis of actual costs versus estimated costs.

• Ensure all invoice rates and amounts are correct.

• Provide improvement recommendations to cost estimating procedures.

Skills & Experience

The Successful Applicant will have the following skills:

• Demonstrate previous Estimating experience with residential and multi-unit developments.

• Experience using Cubit estimating software (Preferable)

• Knowledge of project management software Buildertrend (Preferable)

• Previous experience in Estimating for a Residential Builder/Developer( Preferable) 

• Have a strong attention to detail.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Passionate about building and construction.

• A positive and self-motivated attitude.

• The ability to work without supervision.

• Be able to resolve problems if they occur.

• The ability to develop and follow process.

• A desire to take ownership and responsibility for the role.
