Car Wash Manager

Handwash Enterprises is seeking an experienced and motivated Car Wash Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our car wash business in Melbourne.

As Car Wash Manager, you will oversee daily operations, lead the team and ensure every customer receives a quality and efficient service. Key responsibilities

• Manage the smooth and efficient operation of the car wash site.

• Recruit, train, supervise and motivate staff.

• Maintain a professional, friendly and customer-focused environment.

• Ensure vehicles are cleaned to a consistently high standard.

• Promote compliance with workplace safety, hygiene and operating procedures.

• Prepare rosters and manage attendance, performance and daily team requirements.

• Monitor cleaning products, equipment and other supplies.

• Support sales growth, manage costs and work towards operational targets.

• Resolve customer concerns and operational issues promptly and professionally.

• Provide regular updates on staffing, operations and performance.

About you

• Previous experience managing a car wash, automotive service, retail, hospitality or other fast-paced customer-service business.

• Strong leadership and people-management skills.

• Excellent communication and customer-service abilities.

• The ability to work efficiently in a hands-on environment.

• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.

• A practical approach to managing staff, equipment and daily operations.

• Flexibility to work weekends and varied hours, as required by the business.

• A current driver's licence is desirable.
