We operate a 3,600+ slab warehouse in Williamstown supporting growth across residential and commercial projects. We're scaling operations and looking for a warehouse manager who can bring order, precision, and ownership to this

## The Role

As Warehouse Manager, you'll own the complete warehouse operation—from inventory control and stock rotation to team leadership and logistics coordination. You'll report to our Operations Director and partner directly with sales, design, and trade teams to ensure our inventory is organized, accessible, and perfectly presented.

## Key Responsibilities

- Inventory Management: Manage circa 4500 slabs across our Williamstown facility and work closely with our warehouse manager at our Laverton Facility. Oversee stock rotation, condition monitoring, and loss prevention. Maintain accurate inventory records in our Odoo ERP system. Receiving stock and unloading containers.

- Team Leadership: Lead and develop warehouse staff (currently 2–3 people). Establish safety standards, training protocols, and performance expectations. Foster a culture of precision and care.

- Logistics Coordination: Work with our delivery team and logistics partners to ensure slab movement, sample preparation, and shipment accuracy. Optimize warehouse layout for efficiency and showroom presentation. It is essential that you are able to load the deliveries onto the truck and operate the slab crane.

- Operations & Systems: Champion Odoo inventory processes. Drive continuous improvement in stocktake cadence, data accuracy, and warehouse KPIs. Report weekly to management on stock levels, turns, and issues.

- Showroom Presentation: Work with the showroom team to ensure samples are displayed beautifully and rotated to highlight new collections and seasonal ranges. Ensure the warehouse is cleaned daily and maintained to the highest standard.

- Growth Planning: Support evaluation of second warehouse site as we scale.

## About You

Essential:

- 5+ years warehouse management experience in a quality-focused or specialty goods environment (natural materials, stone, premium finishes, or similar preferred)

- Proven ability to lead small teams with professionalism and clarity

- Strong Odoo, SAP, or equivalent ERP experience (we use Odoo; skills transfer quickly)

- Meticulous attention to detail—you care about how things are stored and presented

- Physical capability to work on warehouse floor and handle slab movement (can supervise, not always do hands-on)

- Forklift license (or willingness to obtain one)

- Crane license

Highly Desirable:

- Background in stone, marble, or natural materials (or ability to learn quickly)

- Experience with sample ordering and preparation for design professionals

- Proficiency with inventory management systems and data reporting

- Project management skills—ability to manage multi-site or expansion planning

- OHS certification or willingness to obtain
