PM Operation Supervisor

About The Role

Team Global Express has an available PM Operations Supervisor position within our Express Parcels team based in Redcliffe, WA. This is a permanent full-time position, working Monday to Friday from 1:30pm to 9:30pm.

Reporting to the PM Depot Manager, you will take a hands-on approach to leading the day-to-day PM operations, coordinating the team and resources to ensure the shift runs safely and efficiently.

You will lead and support the team while maintaining a strong focus on safety, service, productivity and meeting customer expectations.

What You’ll Do

Lead and supervise the day-to-day operations of the PM shiftCoordinate staffing, labour and equipment requirementsLead, coach and support employees across the operationManage productivity, service levels and operational costsMonitor operational KPIs and identify opportunities for improvementEnsure all work is completed safely and in line with proceduresInvestigate service failures and lost or damaged freight and follow through on corrective actionsCoordinate uplift operations, including linehaul and aircraft loadingSupport the operation of automated sortation equipmentEnsure compliance with safety, aviation, security and regulatory requirementsWork closely with the team to ensure customer service expectations are met.

What You’ll Bring

Previous supervisory or leadership experience within transport, logistics, warehousing or a similar operational environmentExperience leading, coaching and motivating operational teamsStrong communication and people management skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced and time-sensitive environmentGood problem-solving and conflict resolution skillsUnderstanding of safety and transport compliance requirementsExperience managing KPIs, productivity and operational performanceStrong planning, organisation and time management skillsAbility to coordinate labour and equipment based on operational requirementsBasic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and ExcelAir freight experience will be highly regardedExperience working with automated sortation systems will be advantageous.

Licences And Qualifications

Current Driver’s LicenceForklift LicenceDangerous Goods, Airside Safety, RACA, HSE and Risk Reporting experience or qualifications will be highly regarded.
