About the role
Project 717 | Full-Time Apprenticeship | Toowoomba
Project 717 is looking for a motivated Cabinet Making Apprentice to join our growing team.
This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to build a genuine career in cabinet making and joinery while learning from experienced tradespeople in a busy, modern manufacturing environment.
We work across a range of residential and commercial projects, manufacturing and installing kitchens, cabinetry and custom joinery.
As a Cabinet Making Apprentice, you will receive hands-on training across all aspects of the trade, including:
Cabinet and joinery manufacturing
Reading plans, drawings and specifications
Cutting, assembling and finishing cabinetry
Learning to operate modern machinery and CNC equipment
Hardware and component installation
Kitchen and joinery installation
Working with a range of board products and materials
Quality control and attention to detail
Safe use of tools, machinery and equipment
Factory and on-site work
We are looking for someone who:
Is genuinely interested in becoming a qualified Cabinet Maker
Is reliable, punctual and willing to work
Has a positive attitude and is keen to learn
Takes pride in their workmanship
Can follow instructions and work as part of a team
Is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Has good attention to detail
Understands the importance of workplace safety
Is willing to learn both factory manufacturing and on-site installation
Previous experience is not essential. We are more interested in finding the right person with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
School leavers and applicants looking to start their first trade are encouraged to apply.
