About the Role

As River Road Tavern team member, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring a welcoming, safe, and enjoyable environment for patrons. Opportunities are available across multiple departments, allowing you to develop a broad range of hospitality skills.

Key Responsibilities
Gaming Attendants

• Provide friendly and professional service to gaming patrons.

• Monitor gaming areas and ensure compliance with venue policies and regulations.

• Process payouts and assist customers with gaming enquiries.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-presented gaming environment.

Bar Attendants

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

• Deliver exceptional customer service in a busy bar environment.

• Operate POS systems and handle cash transactions.

• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of bar areas.

Retail Attendants

• Process customer purchases accurately and efficiently.

• Merchandise products and maintain retail displays.

• Assist customers with enquiries and product recommendations.

• Ensure stock levels are monitored and replenished.

Bistro Team Members

• Take food and beverage orders.

• Deliver meals and beverages to guests.

• Assist with table clearing and dining room presentation.

• Provide friendly and efficient service throughout the guest experience.

What We're Looking For

• Previous hospitality experience is preferred but not essential.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.

• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.

• Strong teamwork skills and willingness to work across multiple departments.

• Reliable, punctual, and professionally presented.

Essential Requirements

• Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate.

• Current Responsible Conduct of Gaming (RCG/RSG) Certificate (or willingness to obtain).

• Full Australian working rights.

• Availability across a rotating roster.
