The Opportunity

Based in Malaga, or Perth CBD, WA, the Key Account Manager is responsible for retaining and growing a portfolio of mid-market customers by delivering high-quality account management, strengthening contract value and expanding the use of Cleanaway services. You will directly influence customer retention, profitable growth and long-term customer partnerships.

• Develop strategic customer relationships and identify share of wallet opportunities across the Cleanaway service offering.
• Grow portfolio value through contract optimisation, pricing discipline and customer retention activities.
• Maintain an active sales pipeline and contribute competitor, market and tender intelligence.
• Manage CRM, contract and reporting requirements to support commercial decision making.
• Partner with operational, finance and customer service teams to deliver a strong customer experience.

About you

You are an experienced B2B account management professional with strong commercial judgement, stakeholder management capability and a track record of growing existing customer portfolios.

• Demonstrated experience in a commercial or industrial B2B Key Account Management role.
• Strong stakeholder management and customer service capability in a complex environment.
• Proven negotiation, presentation and tender response experience.
• Commercial acumen with experience growing revenue within existing customer portfolios.
• Current driver’s licence.
• Tertiary qualification in Business or a related discipline is desirable.
• Experience with Salesforce and Microsoft Office applications.
