Commercial Truck Spray Painter

Melbourne Truck Bodies is a well-established truck body manufacturing company based in Moorabbin, Victoria. Due to continued growth, we are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Commercial Truck Spray Painter to join our team on a full-time, part-time, or casual basis.

This is a great opportunity for a skilled spray painter looking for stable, long-term employment in a professional workshop environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation and spray painting of truck bodies and commercial vehicles.
• Fibreglass repairs to camper van and truck bodies.
• Surface preparation, including sanding, masking, and priming.
• Mixing and colour matching paints.
• Applying top coats and finishes to a high standard.
• Maintaining spray booths, equipment, and a clean work area.
• Ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards.

About You:

• Qualified Spray Painter or proven experience in commercial/industrial vehicle painting.
• Experience with 2-pack paints and spray booth operations.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, punctual and safety-focused.
